Step 11 Prayer
 

God, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where hatred nests – let me sow love
Where there is insult – let me sow forgiveness
Where there is conflict – let me sow unity.
Where there is error – let me sow truth.
Where there is doubt – let me sow faith
Where there is despair – let me sow hope
Where there are shadows – let me sow light
Where there is sadness – let me sow joy.
O God, make me not desire to be comforted – but rather comforted.
Not to be understood – but to understand
Not to be loved – but to love
Because when we forget ourselves – we will receive
When we forgive, we will be forgiven.
And when we die – we will be born to eternal life.
